Two-Faced In Paris.

For the collectors who thought they’d seen it all. This is the ever-elusive Cartier Reverso Dual Time, a rare 1970s gem born from an inspired view of the Jaeger-LeCoultre’s 1930s classic. Except here, Cartier did it their own way—with a Parisian twist, double the dials, and twice the charm.

Flip it. On one side: a clean white enamel dial with crisp Roman numerals and blued steel hands, signed "Paris." On the other: a brushed gold dial that echoes the case, moody and understated, equally signed "Paris" in black print. Two faces. Two moods. One you, one alter ego. No need to pick just one.

Inside are not one, but two ultra-thin hand-wound movements (JLC-based P838s) laid back-to-back. Their slim profile is the key to the case’s elegant proportions—just 24mm wide, 35mm lug-to-lug—and the real party trick: no protruding crowns. Look closer and you’ll spot the tucked-in French-style crowns, subtle and symmetrical. One of those “how does it work?” moments. Until it does.

"Few watches embody duality with such grace. To find a Cartier of this caliber—mechanically complex, design-forward, and historically rare—is a true privilege."

Flip the watch and feel the precision. The case glides in dual slit channels, pivots in a milled notch, then snaps into place on the reverse side—similar to the JLC Reverso, but signed Cartier and made in France. The internal serial numbers? Matched. The carriage tolerance? Just enough clearance to protect the mineral crystals on both sides. Built like a puzzle, worn like a statement.

Crafted in 18K yellow gold, the case is French-hallmarked with eagle heads—two on the case back, one on the case side. It comes on its original deployant clasp, also fully hallmarked. Finished with a vintage caramel leather strap that’s aged just enough to feel like your own from day one.

Rarely seen. Undeniably Cartier. Function, form, and Parisian flair—times two.

The watch is in excellent condition.

The original case lines are present, with very light surface scratches.

The case hallmarks, serial engravings are deep and sharp.

Both dials are very beautifully preserved.

The crystals and hands have no blemishes to note.

The leather strap shows small signs of wear.
