The Sweetest Thing.

There are two things the Swiss are universally trusted with: making chocolate and making watches. Every so often, they combine the two—and the result looks a lot like this.

This 1970s Vacheron Constantin ref. 7390 is what happens when one of Switzerland’s oldest watchmakers indulges its sweet tooth. The dial isn’t brown; it’s molten Swiss chocolate, poured and spun under sunlight. Depending on how it catches the light, it goes from deep espresso to golden truffle, radiating out like a sunburst that’s somehow edible. You almost expect it to melt.

Encased in an 18K yellow gold tonneau case—a shapely, TV-style design that was pure 1970s with proportions that still feel modern today. At 32 x 31mm, it hits that sweet spot between vintage charm and contemporary wearability. Beneath that sapphire crystal, the absence of a date window keeps things uncluttered. Just pure, time-telling indulgence.

“Proof that the Swiss can make chocolate for your wrist just as well as they make it for your mouth.”

Inside ticks Vacheron’s Caliber K1121, a 2.45mm-thin automatic with 36 jewels and a gold rotor—one of the finest ultra-thin movements of its era, also found in the most prestigious watches from Geneva’s top maisons.

To top it off, it's paired with a new brown crocodile strap and an AW-signed solid 18k gold buckle. You can’t eat it, but you’ll probably stare at it long enough to forget lunch.

Excellent overall condition with a rich, even dial tone and strong case lines.

18K yellow gold case retains crisp edges and light natural wear consistent with age.

Chocolate sunburst dial is flawless with no discoloration.

Caseback shows light surface wear with clearly visible serial number and hallmark.

Hands and sapphire crystal are in excellent condition, free from noticeable marks.

Fitted with a new dark brown crocodile strap.

Automatic Caliber K1121 runs smoothly and keeps accurate time.
