One Continuous Piece Of Gold.

This is one of those watches where the material does most of the talking.

Piaget leaned into that early with the Polo. Instead of separating the case and bracelet, they treated the whole thing as one continuous piece. You see it right away here. The horizontal links run straight through from one end to the other, including the dial, so nothing feels added on or out of place. It’s consistent all the way across.

The finishing helps bring that out. Brushed surfaces sit next to polished ridges, and as the watch moves, the light shifts across it in a way that keeps it from ever looking flat. It’s simple in concept, but it’s done properly.

Then there’s the weight. Just over 146 grams of solid 18k gold. You feel it when you put it on, but it doesn’t fight you. Once it’s sized, it settles in comfortably. This example fits up to a 7.5 inch wrist, and the links can be removed individually, so you can get it sitting exactly how you want.

“It works because nothing feels separate. Case, bracelet, dial—it all reads as one.”

Inside is Piaget’s 7P3 quartz movement. At the time, it was one of the thinnest available, which is how the watch keeps this low profile despite the amount of gold. What’s nice here is the dial stays clean. There’s no “Quartz” text, which you usually see on these, so it keeps the focus on the design.

The Polo always had a certain reputation. It showed up in the right circles, worn by people who appreciated it without needing to explain it. That still holds up. It works just as easily today, whether you’re dressed up or not.

There’s also the reality of what this is made from. At this weight, the gold itself becomes part of the value. Not the reason to buy it, but something that sits alongside everything else.

It’s a straightforward watch in the best way. Strong design, solid build, and easy to live with.

The watch presents in strong overall condition with honest wear consistent with age.

The 18k yellow gold case and integrated bracelet show light surface wear with well-preserved brushing and polished accents.

The dial is clean and original with no visible damage.

The caseback retains clear Piaget engravings and reference numbers with expected light wear.

The hands remain sharp and the crystal shows minimal signs of wear.

The integrated bracelet is fully functional, fits up to approximately 7.5 inches, and can be adjusted via removable links.

The quartz movement is functioning as intended.
